This Week in the Metaverse: I blazed through the second Palace in Persona 5, but the boss is giving me quite a bit of trouble. I'm going to have to shuffle my squad, distribute situation-appropriate accessories, shift strategies… blah blah blah JRPG minutiae. I quite enjoyed this dungeon's gimmick, however slight, and

It's true, we're so vain!

Kingdoms of Amalur was this game for me. I latched onto it because I was tired of brown, gray, and brown being the dominant color palette in Western RPGs for most of the prior decade. So a lovely, brightly colorful world seemed like just the thing to screw around and fight jerks in. Turned out being pretty was just

Fortunately I love Psychonauts, so this revelation has only increased my enjoyment. I'll be playing

President Nixon?

That's not a nice thing to say about Carmen Electra!

I'm okay with not seeing him in tights, thanks.

I'm not falling for that again!

Sounds about right. He's definitely more of a Hobgoblin than a Luthor.

Wait, the universe "we all inhabit?" We were in the Marvel Universe all along? Oh God, Galactus is coming.

My rule of thumb is that any unfamiliar phrase of the construction "[location/nationality] [noun]" refers to either a sex act or murder. It's… not the best rule, actually.

We will also accept "Speaking." and "There is now."
