Mine was a little tense, because on Friday I was invited to interview for a job I really want…today. Which I just finished, and it went fine, but in the middle there was a lot of frenzied preparation and fretting.

Let's all meet back here in 2019 to mock or congratulate Duwease!

Awesome boldness, Commander! Do explain further gaming highlights, I just know later missions necessarily offer powerful quest rewards. Simply tell us variations weekly. (X-rated, yes?) Zounds!

This Week in the Solana Galaxy: Still making my way through the Ratchet & Clank remake, and remembering once again how much I enjoy big silly weapons in sci-fi. Too often video game guns boil down to the boring real-world analogues of pistol/assult rifle/sniper rifle/shotgun, and there's plenty of that here as well,

All right, who leaked the new AV Club slogan?

It was actually a Hey Arnold! episode. They even threw in one of the dates being in disguise. They went all-in on sitcom romance shenanigans in a single episode and it turned out kind of brilliant.

The hell kind of history were you learning?

My contact at a company I'd love to work for invited me to visit him in a couple of months to tour their offices, and he also offered to set up meetings with some people there so I can make more contacts. It's insanely nice of him, so now I'm scrambling to set up logistics so I can fly out to do that and hang out with

And at restaurants on opposite sides of the same street!

Damn, looks like my deadly postmen trap has a fatal flaw. I'll have to go to my backup plan of comically aggressive little dogs.

The little plastic pieces at the end of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister.

This town must go through postmen at an alarming rate.

Most likely they're using "immortal" as a noun and writing in headline style. Think "Dog Bites Man."

Commentary Tracks of the Damned!

Aw, I liked reading those every week and seeing if a book I worked on made the manga list (they didn't). Of course, you could replace the paperback graphic novels list with a copy-pasted list of the collected works of Raina Telgemeier every week without anyone really noticing. Still, more substantive coverage sounds
