I haven't done any sort of Halloween celebration for years, but peanut butter cups do seem to go missing when I'm around.

The football episode of Milo Murphy was pretty dang funny, though I couldn't help thinking of Weird Al's "Sports Song" during the football game. Good to see Povenmire and Marsh are keeping their penchant for musical numbers, even if it's not as core to the show as it was to P&F. Speaking of, we got a cute callback…
I went to New York Comic-Con this weekend, and I had a great time! My main focus was networking, so I made it rain with business cards the whole time. One indie publisher in particular seemed very interested and mentioned that they might have work for me in the future, which is exactly what I wanted to hear. I also…
For @Evil Lincoln learned too late, that man is a feeling creature…
Huh. You learn something new and strange every day.
That just raises further questions!
No, those are robots only in the figurative sense. Many bureaucrats are in fact lovely people who are fun to be around, and in any event Rick Sanchez is an unhelpful source on these matters.
…Herbivore?
Look, there's a simple solution for all of this.
I'll give him your regards.
I advise against doing the nasty in the past-y.
Canadian Thanksgiving is about genocidal racists? Gosh, and they seemed like such nice people.
The guest list includes Greg Rucka, Tim Seeley, Jason Latour, Declan Shalvey, other cool people, and something called "Charles Soule and his Wizard Band."
He is unquestionably a fascist, though, so he's earned the Hitler look on that score at least.
More World of Warcraft, of course. They really really want me to do World Quests and do stuff with other players. What is this, some sort of massively multiplayer game?
I wouldn't say favorite, but the kind that scares me the most is any contagious monster: vampires, Romero zombies, etc. A menace that doesn't just kill you, but changes you, gives me the old heebie-jeebies something fierce.
I just finished the first volume of Walt Simonson's Ragnarok. Simonson. Norse Gods. Unrelenting badassery. Whaddaya need, a roadmap? Needless to say, any Norse-related story that tosses in Ratatoskr in the first couple issues has my attention.
Ah, I just read the first two collections of that. It is great and you will love it.
I'm glad you're enjoying Duck Dodgers! It's kind of been forgotten, but it's a terrifically funny show, with some pretty nifty sci-fi smuggled in here and there (their take on Elmer Fudd is genuinely unsettling). And Tom Jones sings the absolute hell out of the theme song.
I'm excited for New York Comic-Con this weekend! I've made up my list of panels to go to and people to see (primarily for networking purposes, as hope springs eternal). And I got a ticket for the Image Comics afterparty on Friday, so that should be fun. Drunk nerds!
