Black Dynamite: The Animated Series. I was all excited for a TV continuation of a hilarious movie with great characters, but it quickly turned into "Black Dynamite meets '70s celebrity X and hijinks ensue." I gave up midway through the first season. It was just never as clever or funny as the source material. I mean,

Quiet, you.

Yep, the game room's part of it, and there are some chess-themed cards. Although I have a bit of a grudge against the chess event, because it got in my way when I tried soloing that raid recently. It just can't be done with one person.

The frogurt is also a hundred dollars.

Hmm, I too watched the pilot and didn't follow it from there. I should give it another try one of these days, though I'm not a huge fan of Justin Roiland's voice work.

But it comes with a free frogurt!

Well, I work part-time at an "escape room" place in Tribeca, and we get a fair number of tourists and vacationers. You might like that, though it costs a hundred bucks for two people, so I can't really call it a budget destination.

And gleefully so! I mean, it stars one of the main villains of the original Warcraft game as a disco dance party host! Hearthstone is not here for drama.

I usually just wander through Central Park when I want to go out and not spend money. It's huge and lovely and free. I'm not much for going out, so I don't have a lot of other suggestions, I'm afraid.

I've had lots of work to do recently, but that's a good thing, since it means lots more money for me. I have two proofreading assignments at the same time! At restaurants across the street from each other! And my boss is coming over for dinner and…wait, no, just the first thing. It makes scheduling a pain, but it's

Hey, that's my neck of the woods! Have fun!

I'm looking forward to Legion too, since I'd more or less run out of things to do in Warlords recently. I aim to explore some of the new pre-expansion stuff they just patched in when I get a chance.

I'm looking forward to the new Hearthstone single-player adventure that comes out tomorrow, as it looks delightfully silly.

Oof, I've been so busy lately that I haven't had time to even think about creative endeavors. But I have proofread other people's creative endeavors, so that's as close as I'm going to get for the next couple weeks.

Sounds like you, sir, have dined on the Salmon of Knowledge.

This all sounds lovely, but to go on a bit of a tangent, I can't hear the world "meditation" anymore without thinking of my favorite letter to the editor ever. Back when they finally discovered evidence of the Higgs Boson at the Large Hadron Collider, someone wrote in to the San Francisco Chronicle with a missive just

Aunt Gargamel? Is that you?

Criminy!

For me it was the cancellation of Danny Phantom.
