Hail to the Chief.

Huh, a sexy version of Gulliver's Travels is certainly an odd idea. I'm reminded of the sequence from the original book in which Gulliver is placed within a Brobdingnagian woman's bosom and finds it not the least bit sexy, as he discovers just how smelly and gross the human body is at that scale.

I, for one, am tremendously, necessarily problematized. Tremendously, I say!

Also yes.

Sid works best as an ensemble member, where his excitability and tendency to jump to conclusions can play off of the other kids.

In my opinion, Curly is at his best when he's floridly psychotic, so his big confession speech here, which drives home how stupid and petty this whole business is, is where he comes into his own. Other characters benefit from introspective moments that delve deeply into their characters; not Curly. Wind him up and set

That is the real story, yes.

He also inspired my favorite joke from America: The Book, riffing on the story about the woman who came up to Coolidge at a party to say that she had bet her friend that she could get him to say more than two words to her. "To which Coolidge wittily replied, 'Fuck you.'"

Oof, this pair of episodes is really where we see the depths of Pataki family dysfunction and the hell that Helga lives with. You can tell how all the different family members' issues feed into each other - Olga's self-satisfied obliviousness, Miriam's distracted wink-wink alcoholism, and of course Bob's alternately

But it's obnoxious and disliked, you know that, sir!

Too many flies! Too many flies!

I don't have a whole lot to say on these episodes, other than to confirm that Miss Slovak was never much of a character. Though "Das Subway" does come to mind whenever I'm in a subway car that gets delayed in a tunnel and I wonder if we'll end up having to join hands and sing. In New York, I doubt it would go over

Ha ha, "Cool Jerk" is maybe the only time Arnold's bizarrely shaped head is an actual plot point. You can pretty much see where the story is going from the beginning (hell, from the title), but the execution elevates it. I particularly like that Gerald saves the day in his typically level-headed manner. He doesn't

That's The Chief to you, Agent!

They've already done that with Scott Adsit in the Deadpool comics, so sure, why not?

I'm working all three days! Woo, party on!

I had the exact same issue with that game. Wonderfully original, great story, occasionally frustratingly opaque puzzles. No shame in looking up some of the loonier solutions, but it is undeniably a pain in the ass.

I'm still on my third playthrough of Psychonauts, and it's just as delightful as ever. The perfect game to chase the blues away, and I'm so excited that it's finally (eventually) getting a sequel. As for the Steam sale, I picked up Monkey Island 2 and Day of the Tentacle, because wacky adventure games are like bowling

You still have Space Pope! (YOU ALL STILL HAVE SPACE POPE!) I just didn't have a lot to add yesterday.

For God's sake, Alien Jesus, siddown!
