Maria Bamford said on the Sound of Young America that she made 70K in 2006, which isn't terrible, but she is way more talented than all but a few stand ups.

It was a guilty pleasure, comforting and familiar. Sort of like Corner Gas. It was like hanging out with friends. However, it was not a good television show by any means.

Comedy Clubs don't pay anything, but when you book your own rooms and fill theaters like Gaffigan you can do very nicely. He also seems to be doing a good job picking roles in at least somewhat decent movies.

I would not have known about the New Pornographers without having been a fan of Neko first, but I am still excited to give this a listen.

Why did they shit on Andy? It does not appear that he was ever contractually able to appear on this show if it went to series and rumors of him sucking have to be unfounded. He's great.
