I completely get that Westeros isn't Earth, and that the society is different and that their culture and morality is different. I also get that Theon was a hostage, not a guest of the Starks.*

The legal system seems to be roughly accurate to the actual medieval legal system, in which the best defence was "Try not to be accused of a crime by someone more powerful than you." Defendants were theoretically allowed to put up witnesses on their behalf, but in a crime such as regicide, it's fairly obvious that

Yeah, it's really strange that that reveal has been stretched out so
long. I guess it's not going to happen until the end of this season.

Don't ever admit to reading the books here in the Newbies thread. You'll be lynched!

She's not sad, she speaks Italian!

You know nothing, schmuley the evil jew.

Ned didn't get a trial. He confessed to treason in order to save his daughters, and thought he was going to be sent off to the Wall. Then, of course, Joffrey decided that it was time for him to start becoming the most hated person in the universe.

There was a scene in an earlier episode in which some maid reports to Cersei after she eavesdrops on Tyrion and Shae. Cersei could easily have had Shae followed after that point, so she'd know when Shae tried to leave.

All her speeches should be shouted out in Valyrian.

He deliberately decided to betray his best friend, and the family who raised him. He captured Winterfell, which resulted in the deaths of dozens (maybe hundreds) of innocent people. He deliberately murdered two young boys (does it matter if they weren't Bran and Rickon?) just to cover his sorry ass. So yes, Theon does

Geez, be careful how you throw around spoilers for never-to-be-written books!

Tolī rhūqo lōtinti, kostilus. (More pigeon pie, please.)

Lysa may have nursed LF back to health after the duel (I don't remember where it's mentioned, but it's probably there somewhere in ASOS). But she lost her virginity to LF before that, at the party when they all got drunk. Lysa tells Sansa about it in the last Sansa chapter of ASOS - just before she tries to kill her.

Nope, that's Mirabelle.

Ah, yes, silly me, should have caught that one. ;)

Banging between unattractive middle-aged people does not count.

"Winter Is Coming … And We Are Getting Snowed Under."
