Well, you wouldn't want to confuse anything with your ANUS, would you?

@avclub-9cbac99b96b86db11c3cb9501e695e31:disqus Based on how I myself play games (not the most extensive data pool, I know), I'd say that if anything, playing video games makes your real marksmanship worse, since it gives you the impression that in real life, there'll helpful AI guiding your shots directly to the

@CompanyWhippingBoy:disqus IMO, it's really hard to choose one single favourite BtVS episode. There are so many that I love, mostly all for different reasons: some are hilariously funny, some are moving and dramatic, some are a perfect mixture of the two, and some just defy any characterization.

Ok, I get it now.

Movie Truck is a damn good episode in itself, but the 'Istanbul (Not Constantinople)' coda sends it into legendary territory.

Doublemeat Palace - aka the worst episode of BtVS ever.

I don't know - I think they came off about even there. Michel's description is of course more wordy and bitchier (like Michel himself), but Luke manages to describe Michel to a T just using one word.

I just love this exchange. Louise's* penetrating look when she asks "But you’ve tried, haven’t you?" and Brad's sheepish answer are just gold.

I doubt if there were any legal reasons why Luke didn't take the cards. More like, just respect for his uncle's wishes.

Wow, David Sims actually liked both the episodes this week. Is that a first?

After re-watching 'Back in the Saddle Again', I revise my pronouncement from last week that the only acceptable ship involving Paris is Paris/Rory. I now ship Paris/Richard. Yes, I know that's icky, so it comes with the disclaimer that I ship adult Paris and a hypothetically single Richard.

@olivececile:disqus  More like they aren't called levels any more - it's apparently considered hopelessly retro. Many games are still divided into 'chapters', 'sequences', 'sections', 'locations', or a zillion other such terms, but not levels.

@olivececile:disqus  "I know no one likes Angelo but expecting him to just wave goodbye to his own child because that child's mother went behind his back to give the kid up for adoption is kind of ludicrous."

@avclub-13d7df3c17502af69aafccc758195f96:disqus  Ok, I get what you mean now. I'm aware that people play older games for nostalgia, or because they can't afford new ones. Heck, I do it myself all the time. But IMO, that looked like something much older than a PS2 era game, and Emmett really isn't old enough to have

Thanks. As I mentioned upthread, I haven't seen Friday Night Lights. And I haven't been watching Parenthood for the past two seasons. Hmm, I really should catch up.

Thanks. I haven't seen Friday Night Lights.

Why 'almost'?

Unwanted pregnancy is never going to stop being featured as a plot point on any soapish show, which includes SaB. It's such a built-in source of drama. And of course, if it's a main character, who then chooses to keep the baby, then there's a whole new bunch of storylines opening up. If not, then it provides enough

Not exactly an American show, is it?

@avclub-d155e6847d268061f3d8cd008a44a202:disqus  But that hardly qualifies as good parenting, does it? Surely providing food for your minor (albeit teenage) son is literally the least a parent can do.
