I just hope there's no unplanned pregnancy in Bay's near future.

Lol. I hope that at least this prediction comes true: 'Daphne realises she has terrible taste in men and signs up for therapy.'

I'm not sure I get you - do you think that it's realistic that Emmett is playing a game that seems older than him, or not?

This show is hardly the only one to pass up showing a woman choosing to have an abortion of her own free will and being OK with that. As far as I know, absolutely no show has actually done that in the last 20-30 years. Sure, there are some shows like Sex and the City and Mad Men that show major female characters who

@olivececile:disqus Well, yes, he can 'give up' if it means that his biological child will be raised by two parents who clearly love her. After all, didn't Regina do the exact same thing to Bay when she found out about the Switch? Of course, the situations were very different, and I'm not drawing any other parallels

Emmett's dad has always come off as more than a bit flaky and childish. Remember that when Emmett was living in his house, he didn't even get enough to eat. Any parent who forgets to feed his kid / have enough food in the house for his kid, isn't exactly father of the year.

When did Regina do that? She raised Daphne, who was definitely not Angelo's baby.

And next year we'll get the best social event themed for a secondary colour - hopefully.

Why is Emmett playing what looks like a game from 1995? Why, oh, why can't TV shows depict video games realistically? Are TV writers and/or prop people just so unaware of what current games look like? Do they think games haven't changed since when they played them as kids?

It's a mix of boring guest stars (see my rant about Nikki, Jace and Ty above), and everyone being off in their own separate story lines. The Kennish/Vasquez family dynamics that were among the most interesting part of the show have all but disappeared.

It really says a lot about all the annoying new characters that I was thrilled to see Toby hanging out with Simone (who I didn't really like when she was a regular), and then Nikki barged in to be a buzzkill, as usual.

Meh. I actually found Ty slightly more intolerable in this episode than before. It's not anything he said or did … it's just that the show is so desperately trying to make him out to be this perfect boyfriend, that he doesn't even seem human. Give the guy some flaws, for heaven's sake!

I love how the daughter (Leia, I presume) casually munches on a spider from the spider farm.

Sounds like vomiting. I assume that's the first scene of season 9, i.e. the two of them arriving at the wedding venue. Presumably they are vomiting because they are nervous. Or maybe they just make each other nauseous.

You slept? Ted's kids envy you.

The age calculations are based on birthdates stated explicitly on the show, and the internal timeline. If B&D are supposed to be 16 and not 17, that's a contradiction to already stated information.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

I agree with you fully. My memory of this episode is a little fuzzy, so I can't speak about specifics, but I do remember thinking that Dr Miller was just being annoyingly bitchy towards Turk. It's one thing to be a confident professional woman who doesn't need anyone's help (and more power to her for being so). But

@avclub-736c1908fbbb3c33c217dff33ec717ee:disqus Duck - I mean Paul Young - didn't kill Mary Alice, she killed herself. Paul killed Martha Huber, the neighbour whose blackmailing led Mary Alice to kill herself. Interestingly, Martha Huber was played by Christine Estabrook, who plays Gail Holloway (Joan's mom) on Mad

Ok, thanks, I get it now.
