This episode seemed to be missing something. Ted's in the final, Ted won the league, Ted posted on the message board, Ted can call the trophy whatever he wants. And then no appearance of Ted.

So, at Barney's wedding, I think he specifically refers to "the other tie" as though he'd made a choice between two women. At the time it was supposed to be Nora, then it would have been Quinn, but it doesn't appear that there's anyone else now.

The same joke was used in the awful I Am Legend movie, but with Bob Marley's kid Damian. It was even weirder there because Jakob Dylan was at least a big deal for six months in 1997.

He calls Kevin 'Brian' and Pete 'Tall Guy'. I think he has one for Jenny too.

Also, at one point Karen complains that he'd rather watch the Phillies (or maybe 76ers) game than go out with her.

I don't think we're supposed to be invested in Mindy's crusade. She comes off as 'jerky' because she's being a jerk.

I think it's more that Brad (or the down-on-his-luck-guy he was pretending to be) already seems like the kind of guy who says sexist things, but racism would be another layer on top of that.

I thought this was the best episode of the season. It seemed like stories that the writers wanted to tell instead of stories (Victoria/Quinn/Nick) that they absolutely had to tell because of the mythology but just wanted to get over with. The pacing was much better because it wasn't all focused on the conclusion of…
