Tara is now married to someone who's the target of an investigation involving an inmate. I don't think that facility is running very good background checks.

Ted should have known that Pestano is a setup man and not a middle reliever.

In the earlier seasons, this show would have implied the obvious "co-godparents" ending, but then gone to something different, such as Ted having won the game by hundreds of points. Now, instead of messing with convention they always go for the most conventional answer.

Marcus Eriksen has had a strange life over the past 8 years. Season 1 - he's happily married. Season 6 - he lives with his mother and is apparently single. Season 7 - he's unemployed. Season 8 - just ran out on his wife and kids and perfect life.

There are two out-of-towners. Chuck was played by Will Forte in an episode and Ted has never been seen.

I think the worst running gag is Bernadette turning into Howard's mom.

I thought Trent Richardson was really funny. The reason that the overkill of cameos doesn't really work is that most of the other athletes aren't.

I have not seen this episode, but I think this would be a much better show if the Aliens had picked up all their mannerisms from TV shows. They could thing that Reality Shows were accurate depictions of how everyone lived. As it is, it's just incredibly muddled where they got their random ideas about humans from and
