"it's tired in here"

Irredeemable is what I first thought of, but have yet to read it (or The Mighty). I HAVE read Invincible, and I can say that while the very basic plot point may be similar (beloved hero is actually would-be conqueror), you can't see Invincible as a 'gritty' story. Sure, it does have it's share of violence (often

no one reads the comment at the end, but still…
my two cents: the term dated is inherently negative, it specifically means something that has aged poorly, and is not as entertaining today as it may have been originally. so something that 'holds up' is still entertaining and therefore not 'dated'.
now this can all be

Homer had 100 shares. They went up form 1/8 to 1/4 (ie 25cents a share), so when he sold 100 shares he made $25. Then, on the news it said the share went up to 52, so if you sold 100 shares you make $5200.
Also, the shares could have opened even higher the next day, meaning those who didn't sell initially could

this episode had so many quotable lines that made it into regular rotation.

and at the end, don't they sync their computers and clocks and stuff with the federation? wouldn't that immediately tell them they are off by two days?

i'll add my vote for 2001. similar to others, bored when i first saw it at 12, and then grew to love it. would also peg it as the best movie of all time.

ha! i own that hat. currently sitting on the 'don't-know-what-to-do-with-it' post moving pile. always makes a good last minute halloween costume.

Another 80's Child
I also learned how babies are conceived the via the opening credits of "Look Who's Talking".

huh.
now what plot will they use for the inevitable family circus movie?

Best thing about Wolverine Origins…
… no need to make a Sabertooth: Origins

no matter how good the line-up is…
… pitchfork itself would give the festival a rating of 5.6, tops.

clearly with the 5 extra slots UP will be included (unless animated films aren't allowed in that cateory).

how is this show even going to work? isn't dubai a dry country??

road cones protect my head!
i submit that this list should have included PLANTS VS ZOMBIES.

i kid because i love
"from the point of view of the Cylons" but directed by Olmos… so that means he's limited to only 3 or 4 scenes of the Admiral breaking down, crying and smashing things to demonstrate his deep emotions. that should work.

toronto is like new york without all the stuff
being from canada you get very good at spotting cancon, as tv/radio stations are required to air 33% canadian content. tv stations get away with counting the news and 6 hour "morning shows", on the radio they just play Rush 4 times an hour.

it was indeed a dark show, the various woodland creatures always seemed to be running away from something or someone… it was really the only cartoon that implied all the animals didn't actually get along and that some are afraid of being eaten.

i will also add that i appear to be the same age as Otto/Janet etc, the doctor who opening on TVO was the bane of my 5 year old existence. but to help repress that i have the glowing memory of attending the Today's Special live performance, i "met" the mouse and everything.
