Except the whole sequence has nothing to do with the rest of the movie. Nothing, It's bizarre. (And awesome.)

Remember that Marc Shaiman co-wrote all the songs. It helps.

Erroneously!

"La Resistance" is an even better number.  Just fucking brilliant.  (My runners-up are "Make 'Em Laugh" from Singing in the Rain, and "Too Much Exposition" from Urinetown.)

For hosting the Tonys.

This event, like all civic gatherings, needs more Prince.

The minister has withdrawn from the event.  As to why there's a benediction … it's harmless.

Her T is honorary, not competitive. Doesn't count.

If Hugh Jackman were to upset DDL, a Grammy win for the Les Mis soundtrack would give him EGOT by age 45, youngest in history I believe.

"Everyone in the hood been up in her! She got more kids than Mrs. Wayans!" —Loc-Dog, Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood

HBO's Not Necessarily The News was Conan O'Brien's and Greg Daniels' first professional writing job, and the show also had future Simpsons writer/producers including Al Jean, Ian Maxtone-Graham, George Meyer, and Mike Reiss.

That is, indeed, what the NYT employs.

Where's the boy, String?

When you get to do something you love as your job, you can find a lot of energy with which to do it.

The worst is the first half of Season 3, until they stopped stalling and had an end date.  Oddly, Amazon Prime won't let me download the Nikki/Paolo episode, one which I regard as Secret Success.

I've been rewatching seasons 5-6 of LOST recently (thank you Amazon Prime), and it really is more satisfying knowing where things are going, knowing who Not-Locke is from the first moment, and having lowered expectations on all the Sideways stuff.
