Are you seriously trying to guilt-trip someone into not criticising this movie by using the COVID economic crisis as a cudgel? I mean, obviously it’s great that there are VFX employees who got work thanks to this movie, no one is demanding they should have been sent to debtors prison or starve in the streets in order…

I know he didn’t take payment, but he did receive tens of millions additional dollars towards filming and special effects for his extended cut.

It was more that he talked about the ideology of the Flag Smashers and then it ended with a simple bank heist with the same “everyone wearing masks” bit that’s been seen in lots of random superhero shows. I’m not saying terrorist organizations aren’t robbing banks, I was just confused as to the connection. 

Correction: he used to have super strength, then a temptress cut his hair, which robbed him of his strength, and then she handed him over to the Philistines.

That boat is absolutely not going to exist by the end of this series. I don’t know if it will be intentionally sacrificed by Sam or not, but with how much time he spent fighting for it I will be shocked if it survives. It might as well be called the S.S. I’m Retiring in Two Weeks.

I’m waiting for the inevitable “THIS ISN’T THE REAL SNYDER CUT!” after this movie disappoints.

I wonder how soon a #RealSnyderCut campaign will start. 

They seem to be resting an awful lot of this on that one paycheck in that one episode when the more relevant approach might have been to figure out what nuclear technicians actually make today, which I’m guessing is quite a bit more than $50,000.

...eh.....I actually preferred Excellent Adventure over Bogus Journey. Bogus Journey has great bits imagery, but the central conflict is way over wrought and it took itself much to seriously.

I love all three movies, but man a lot of the final act of this one is obnoxious. I hate Station. They’re stupid and unfunny. The Good Robot Bill and Ted are lame. The KISS song is terrible. Only the time fight with DeNomolos makes it worth it. Everything leading up to Heaven is golden though. And thank gods that Face…

Wow, I can’t remotely agree on this one. The first movie is a timeless classic, and funny all the way through. Bogus Journey has several lulls and feels forced overall. I actually saw Bogus Journey BEFORE the first film---i chuckled a bit at the 2nd movie, but the 1st one had me howling.

Amazing soundtrack, boring cash grab of a movie.

The first one is a classic and something I can watch whenever it’s on. The second film, while decent, doesn’t come close... that is until Death enters the picture. I haven’t seen the third movie yet, I guess I’ll have to check it out soon.
