The Cloris Leachman episode is okay, but it does get a bit dull after awhile. I don't think much of Leachman's first number, they could have had more pig parodies (and even then, the pig parodies of Vets Hospital and Muppet News are a little dull), and it would have been great to have some backstage scenes with Kermit

What "greatest hits montages of Jim Henson's work" have featured John Cleese's closing number? It's not in The Muppets: A Celebration of 30 Years, The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson, or Great Performances: The World of Jim Henson. And it's not in any of the compilation videos from 1985, though other segments from this

I hope they continue. Will the fact that seasons four and five have yet to be released on DVD be an obstacle?

The John Cleese episode is perfect. I like pretty much everything in the episode, making it hard to choose favorite moments (if I had to pick a least-favorite, I'd say the Newsflash segment… Nothing happens to the Newsman???). With the Cloris Leachman epsiode, I like the opening an dclosing numbers best, but the rest

I had seen an announcement of the chicken fight being an epic conclusion (I won't be surprised if the chicken does return), and when I saw a reference to the chicken fights in the first segment of "Viewer Mail #2" I wondered if the chicken would be in all three segments of that. And when I saw the chicken open its

My favorite pieces from these episodes are Pig Calypso, Muppet Labs: Automatic Wastebasket, Teresa Brewer's opening and closing numbers, and Cheese Cake.

I wasn't expecting Victoria's "thing" to be her wedding.

This might be the first time I gace a C- grade to a Family Guy episode at the AV Club. Though I think I could be wrong.

Lately I've been wondering what the difference between baseball and softball is. I looked it up on wikipedia and I still don't understand. And I don't think I would even be aware of softball if not for this episode, which I feel is the shows best sports episode.

I'm surprised this article doesn't mention the little character development for Beaker. The Peter Sellers episode is the first time he speaks in his familair "meep" language. Before that, his speech was more like somebody struggling to get full words out (though in some segments he just seems quiet). Though the rest

I like the entire second half of the Peter Sellers episode (after the commercial break/fade-to-black), but the first half I find very so-so. I'd say the best of the first half is Kermit's conversation with Peter, but everything after is gold. As for the Petula Clark episode, my favorite sketches are the Swedish Chef's

I always wondered why the episode title is "Itchy and Scratchy: The Movie" while the movie in the episode is "The Itchy and Scratchy Movie". Shouldn't they be consistient?

When Stewie mentioned that whenever Brian promises to pay him back he never gets paid back, I expeted Stewie to mention he once had to beat Brian to death to get paid back.

I feel this should have been titled "The Road to Paris". Aside from having the usual opening and lacking a musical number, this episode pretty much feels like one of those "Road to" episodes.

My favorite segments from these episodes include Gonzo's bagpipe act, Borneo, Muppet Labs: Hair Tonic, I Whistle a Happy Tune, English Country Garden, Jaye P.'s talk spot, Sam's editorial about crime, and That Old Black Magic. Two real solid epsiodes, but they do have their weak moments (I don't really enjoy either
