I was similarly disappointed. Although when I clicked and this article opened, it didn't take long to adjust my expectations.

I've been waiting for him to be in a movie that sounds like it's worth watching for ten years now (since "The Rundown") and it's been one disappointment after another (although "Fast Five" was pretty good). Maybe this is the best thing for him. I guess he was always better suited for television.
POPULAR MOVIES OF ALL TIME, SIR! What were you theeenking????
This reminds me of that fat man I used to ride to work!
"To the Death" is my favourite regular episode. I say 'regular' because my overall favourite is "Trial and Tribble-Ations", but that's such a huge departure/event of an episode, I think it's unfair comparing it to other episodes.
If you're going to make a shitty movie, at least have the decency not to taint an old one by association in stealing its title. The Paul Newman picture deserves better.
I've been wondering the same thing. I just watched that series for the first time recently, and when I got to the end of the reviews, I was like, WTF? It was especially maddening because the show started getting better towards the end, culminating in the last episode, which I consider by far the best of the series.
I agree that the lack of DS9 and JLU discussion is really disappointing. I was reading this thing just waiting and waiting impatiently for the conversation to shift to DS9, and then when it finally did, the comments seemed so brief and rushed, right before a surprisingly abrupt ending.
Thanks for the reviews, guys. I'll miss 'em. Perfect time for a hiatus after one of my favourite episodes of the series (the only one left is "Improbable"). After Mulder's yelp in "Jose Chung's From Outer Space", probably my biggest laugh in the series is Mulder calling the genie a bitch, only to discover that she's…
Another Simpsons review. I'll add it to the ball.
Moe's "shut up" is funny enough by itself, but even better is Grampa's pitiful little "I've had my moment" in response.
"You *do* realize who this is?"
"Uh…Marge?"
"No, Homer I'm not your wife."
I love that exchange. I guess you can't fault him for getting mixed up. Marge DOES sound like a calm, polite man with a gentle voice and a British accent, right?
The wrestler in "Fight Club" is Rob Van Dam and Scully and Mulder's stunt doubles get to actually play them in one scene.
I don't think that's a fair comparison. I wouldn't complain if he just died. I'm objecting to erasing everything Kurn learned and all the growth that he went through with Worf as a character/brother.
Maybe not initially, but what irked me about "Redemption" is it kind of pissed on the great send-off and (ironically) character redemption that was accomplished by "Yesterday's Enterprise".
I kinda wish "Sons of Mogh" never happened, because even though the idea is that Worf made a noble sacrifice out of love for his brother, it also sort of retroactively makes all of Kurn's character development in previous episodes pointless.
That may be the hardest I've ever laughed at "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and a great example of how Whedon turns clichés on their heads for absolutely mint clever/original humour.
I haven't seen that one yet, although I plan to because of how much I like Ingrid Bergman.
He can't stop because he's beyond saving. Too far out to sea. Gunn Baby Gunn.
