It's not a very accurate comparison since Bogart & Bergman only made one movie together. Bogart & Bacall, Flynn & De Havilland, Astaire & Rogers, Tracy & Hepburn, Stewart & Sullavan, Gable & Crawford, Gable & Harlow, or Gilbert & Garbo would be more apt. Or, if you wanna go more recent, Hanks & Ryan.

I found his performance in "12 Monkeys" really moving. Better than Brad Pitt's, even. I believe Pitt's work was overpraised because the Oscar people always go ape over attractive performers 'uglying' themselves up. Willis gave the more subtle and affecting performance. After re-watching "12 Monkeys" and "Pulp Fiction"

Sure, we're too old to change the world, but what about that kid, sitting down, opening a book, right now, in a branch at the local library and finding drawings of pee-pees and wee-wees on the Cat in the Hat and the Five Chinese Brothers? Doesn't HE deserve better?

I love that there's a guy whose real last name is "Bartman".

See you around, Ahab.

Good point. Like Gorshin and Newmar, I think he nailed his character better than anyone else who has played it in movies.

Yeah, Russell was great in it. Elvis pays Russell to kick his shin (twice!) so he has an excuse to see a hot nurse. Russell's amusement at this is so funny, especially when he embarrasses Elvis by mockingly telling the nurse about it. Hell of a debut.

Upon seeing that headline, I couldn't resist just going "awwwww" out loud. =( I hated Batman and Robin's costumes on "Batman '66". Batgirl was the first hero to finally get a decent one. I loved it.

Thank you. I had to laugh at how she cocked her head and made that stupid noise. Such a perfect obnoxious villain. I love this movie and every performance in it. One of my favourite '90s pictures.

Smithers: He was so good to his mother, sir.

Yes, finally. It would make a good door prize at the Batman convention.

Sorry, champ.

Yes, finally! I would like to return your quote unquote ultimate belt.

This reminds me of a story I read about Bale considering DiCaprio his 'rival'. They'd always been auditioning for the same roles, with DiCaprio getting cast over him, or he'd end up getting the 'leftovers' that Leo accepted before dropping out of them (i.e. "American Psycho"). I really wanted art to imitate life by

I'd be curious to see what the movie does with Batman's villains…if any are included. Their designs in the Lego Batman video game are fun. Bane looks way cooler than he did in the last live action Batman movie. This could also lead to the movie debut of Harley Quinn. I'd like to see that…I just hope she'd have more

I don't think it was a case of "directorial cowardice" or network censorship. I think they shot the scene that way deliberately because it's just funny to watch Xander's face as he reacts to the off-screen making out. Us seeing it would change the entire intent of the scene, which is to be amusing, not erotic.

I just wanted to say I love the header image. So clever and appropriate (*In My Eyes*).

Really? I thought what happened was his intended part got cut from the script. Apparently when Pine Kirk didn't believe Nimoy Spock's claim that they were friends, Nimoy Spock showed him a hologram of Nimoy Spock and Shatner Kirk. I can see why that would be cut. Sounds cheesy.

Yeah, in his interview on the "Star Trek IV" DVD, he explains that he doesn't really care about his 'legacy' as an actor and doesn't really understand why some actors take it so seriously. His philosophy is summarized as, "When an actor is offered any work, they should just take it and hope for the best".

It would be nice if they could come up with a "Days of Future Past"-like retcon that undoes stupid events of "Star Trek: Generations" the way that latest X-Men movie repaired the damage done to its franchise by "The Last Stand". This alone would justify the misbegotten new Star Trek franchise. I just don't think the
