Still plenty of great episodes to go all the way until the end of the series. Even in the (understandably) much maligned ninth season, there's "Improbable", which is one of my favourite episodes of this series. Okay, maybe all the objectively top ten best episodes had been done by this point ("Bad Blood", "Jose

I don't care how obvious their references are and how repetitive their running gags are - I love the movie parody Goodfeathers shorts. Especially the "Raging Bull"/"Rocky" and "West Side Story" parodies. To this day, I still say, "You're a bum, ya bum!" to friends even though I know nobody gets the reference.

Yeah, I think you're right about what movie they're parodying, but the caricature is clearly of Kirk Douglas for whatever reason. The voice isn't exactly like his, but the hair, head shape, and dimple on his chin? PURE DOUGLAS.

There was a funny story on his IMDB message board about how his first movie role was in "Midnight Cowboy", as a guy who blows Jon Voight in a darkened movie theatre. The guy who posted it proclaimed, "Welcome to Hollywood, Bob!". Such humble beginnings…

He was funny in "The Mexican" as Brad Pitt's boss. He plays a great stuck-up authority figure. I love when he makes a phone call and you hear him over the line wearily asking, "Where's that idiot Jerry?".

As someone who enjoyed the first 5 seasons, and to a lesser extent, the 6h, I gotta say cancelling it now is really a mercy killing. I also have to agree with anyone praising the season 6 finale. It was surprisingly amazing and one of the best episodes of the whole series. A total shock coming off such a lackluster

I just checked. He's wearing an ID badge, but I can't see any decipherable name on it. I think the name is used for two reasons. First, because it just makes sense as an affectionate dig at a lazy power plant worker, and second because Chris Carter got a kick out of throwing in cute Simpsons references.

The power plant worker's name wasn't actually Homer. His colleague was just calling him "Homer" to tease him because he fell asleep on the job. I thought it was a pretty obvious wisecrack.

This is another instance of Sava being way too hard on a decent episode, which is a little baffling considering some of the stuff he's praised in the past. I don't exactly feel compelled to rush to this one's defense, though.

The best part is the way he emphasizes BOTSWAAAAANA! And the animation of the glee on Yakko's face when he does makes it even better.

Oops, missed that. Thanks for clarifying.
