UK tv has gone Who crazy. Even Channel 5 is showing the original films from the 60s.

Wot's on this weekend: unofficial UK freeview version:

It's like 1984 but worse. You don't have to strap a rat to someone's face to ensure compliance. Just offer them a more comfortable prison.

I strongly suspect they're holding Jason's backstory in reserve for season finale/opener stories. So it's mythological plot-of-the-week all season and then periodically you get an update on the whole mystery-origins thing.

I thought Merlin got better as time went on. I gradually started semi-following it because of the timeslot in the later seasons, and by the finale I was quite invested for a Sat afternoon kids show.

Well it wouldn't be UKWOT without me accidentally listing a show that's finished. I try not to list just the things I'm watching myself, but that increases the error rate.

No UKWOT Wednesday but at least I've worked out how to sign in.

No What's On Tonight yesterday, as I was unable to log in to the new and improved AV Club website. Today it occurred to me to use a different browser than IE. With Chrome, I can log in???

Well who could possibly have forseen that?

They offered to pay up $125M and the judge dismissed that, then dismissed the case aginst them too? On the face of it rather confusing but if the idea is to establish fair use rights for everyone this could actually be a great outcome.

Look I'm trying to avoid ever using the anonymous downvote button but you two are making it hard to resist.

That's the one that's like The Killing with filing cabinets, right? I'll add it for next week.

Oh heck, is it? I checked the schedule and it said it was the finale this week. Must be a repeat. Apologies to those actually watching it if I got your hopes up.

I like Abbey so much that I'm already worrying her tortoise-person relationship isn't going to work out once transformed back. I'm also worried there's some kind of mix-up and it's just a tortoise.

Ah, that's where I know her from. She was ace in that.

He turned up unexpectedly in the Space Prison movie…
*googles*
…Lockout.
He was the best thing in that too.
