I agree, the first 2 seasons are good, but I have to say I find cherry picking good seasons/episodes to be uneven and unfair. Explains a great deal.

The Shield should've been a mile above Dexter, and certainly above NYPD Blue.
Dexter placed!?!?!
For those interested in what "former members of" are doing…
Vulgar display of flour
well if it's anywhere near Season 7, I can only imagine! Can't wait
@avclub-f6f154417c4665861583f9b9c4afafa2:disqus Oh, I get what "The Barn" was trying to do, but I don't get what the writers were trying for, other than a stretch that Hiatt was what Vic would be if he was on said CBS procedural, just to show some extreme contrast. As much as I think Hiatt's the worst thing to ever…

Impossible. I've re-watched the whole series several times, and even knowing how it goes I can't help but binge.
I think over the course of the series, Vic's best acting is 100% in that mug. His demo-reel could be silent, though devoid of all the devastating context.
Reexamining Skee-Lo now…
Yeah, do that AFTER. I think after watching Season 7 for the first time, a trip to DisneyLand (paired with new AD) might barely get you back to "even". I just imagine a shell-shocked Scrappybilly, staring off into the middle distance on the boat to "It's a small world"
Interesting about Dutch! I think they gave him just the perfect amount of frailties (the occasional teary eye) and lack of empathy. Maybe empathy is the wrong word, but certainly that part of anyone who can change emotional/intellectual gears and break the cockiest of killers, but truly doesn't get people…
I was definitely bummed he left so abruptly, but I also thought that was more because he signed on as the season star for 13 episodes, season 5 was 11 episodes, etc etc.
It was a shame they couldn't get Diro back because she was apparently a huge fan and heartbroken she couldn't make the timing work.
I went to a taping of the David Letterman Show this Monday; Will Smith was the guest. The CBS Orchestra played his old hit "Summertime" as the walk on intro, and Will Smith grabbed Paul's mic and rapped the first verse. I don't care about anything in this article, but I gotta tell ya, being yards away as it happened…
Nobody but nobody should ever take a Pitchfork review seriously
I thought Inception was Nolan Bond. The snow stuff anyhoo
