Agreed.  Forcing it to 24 hrs always caused too many twists and turns that hurt  believability (and yet they still didn't have time to get Stephen Root out of that wall panel).

I completely agree.  Prometheus looked amazing in large part because of the practical effects.  I was glad to see it pick up an oscar nod for visual effects.

The Bourne movies tend to feel this way.  The scene in Ultimatum where Matt Damon jumps from the terrace of one building in through the window of another building and the camera man follows him is absolutely amazing and a real high point in stunt work.  There's still good stuff around, but it's becoming rare.

And then, if we're lucky(?) the Wayans.

Correct, The Woodlands is (are?) a suburb of Houston.  Hence, "The Suburbs".
