Yeah, one of Singer's strengths as a director is balancing a big ensemble, and Last Stand could've used somebody with that strength. Last Stand was bound to be overpacked, but Singer probably could've—at the very least—found some more interesting character beats for the minor mutants.

This is awesome because I just finished the book and loved it, but it's also terrible because it's basically going to be LOST on ice.
