I'm from the future, and I 100% agree with you. It's a really beautiful and frightening film, and Neeson really seems to be using it is a means to battle some of his personal demons.

His acting was terrible as usual, but the cameo was so small that it was kind of endearing. He just seemed excited to be dressed as a cowboy in a movie. It was even more endearing that the costume looked a little too big for him, like he was a little kid and it was his Dad's or something.
