Yeah, thanks for mentioning this. I noticed it too, and I think that was the defining moment I crossed the line from 'giving it a chance' to 'oh man, this writing is ridiculous.' These people just don't respond to anything like they're in a crisis. Is the water in Chester's Mill laced with Valium?

I still say there is a remarkable and fully noticeable drop in actual production quality in the 6th season of Lost, as if while approaching the finish line Lindelof and co. gave up and said 'well, shoot, now they're going to know we've been lying to them all along about having a master plan.' Even in the 4th and 5th

My life for yoooooo!

A better question is: why doesn't Junior have a flashlight?

This explains the significant drop in quality between the opener and everything else.

That's most likely true for a number of King novels now: The Shining, IT, and The Stand all come to mind. Pop culture has popped a lot o' bubbles.

@jerodast:disqus Joe's seizure was also in the tail-end of the pilot; the consequences of his were moderately glossed over by skateboard friend and him. And I'd like to think my complainings are more gentle than some I've seen on here…

Well, in my defense, I did forget to mention the skate-park in my initial comment, and take full responsibility; however, I will claim negligence due to watching that scene from the kitchen while I was finishing making pancakes. Hadn't settled in yet.

She wasn't sparkly enough?

I knew him for so short a time, yet he was so dear to me!

Looks like you got a date with Tara Reid next Thursday…

Amen.

Dr. Lecter doesn't do all you can eat Sizzler buffet for $4.99?

I'd almost go as far as integral, if they really make it to season 4 and Red Dragon. It is rather disturbing however that Under the Dome seems to have the Diet Pepsi version of her.

…and THAT'S why you don't watch CBS.

Showtime didn't ultimately want it; now we might know why…

After a while = after two episodes…

@avclub-2abf2b82c099047f2d089c7e7abe42b1:disqus Well, to that I say 100% agreement sir! Hannibal is going places this show can't even conceive of. As for the cow, we're just looking for relatively bright spots in this heap o' crap.

Especially not a gothy teenager who basically doesn't give a flying flip about anything except a few days without texting.

To be fair, there was also the diner dude who was very concerned about the eminent shortage of bacon. But, yeah…
