Sumbitch?

Plus they give him the shittiest writing on the show.  What the fuck was that thing last night with Sherri Shepherd?  Awful.

Douchey College Ted rules.

@avclub-5e550d516b252b5d3e9a239590372fed:disqus - There's a gag coming up this season that's actually not far from that.

I tend to think a lot of these books come out of telling bedtime stories to their kids, too.

Nice set of hooters you got there!

Samsonite.  I was way off!

Now THAT is a Daily Mail comment.

I've heard it theorized that Kurt was wanting to move more in the direction of what they did on Unplugged - quieter, more blues-based stuff.  I know he was obsessing over Leadbelly, and of course hanging with Michael Stipe can make anybody mumble more.

Well he was apparently listening to it when he blew his brains out, so probably not.

My response to the idea of Kurt Cobain writing Live Through This:  Celebrity Skin is a damn good album.

The villainess.  The villainess was too impure.

My main problem with that storyline was that the funny didn't keep up with the depressing.  They make me feel bad, but they don't make me laugh.  When I run across those Susan episodes in reruns, I watch something else.  Life is too short.

I'm a fan of both Paul Provenza and Teri Polo, and even I can barely stand to watch those episodes.  There are some good moments, and Provenza is actually really likeable in the show (Polo's character is pretty much the opposite of likeable), but it's just too bland and dumb to tolerate when compared to the classic

I think they're gonna be doing the usual HIMYM time-jumping.  The season premiere would seem to support that.

It's a neat thought, but I'd think Future Ted would have mentioned that part when he told the story in the first place, like he did with all the other close calls.

Happy How I Met Your Mother Week, everybody!

I think it's going to contain a lot of ideas they've been sitting on for the last seven years or so while they filled up time with a bunch of bullshit. The story they have to tell is simply not enough story to stretch out over almost a decade, so the last few years have mostly been padding, and now they can get

Take a run through season 1.  That Leslie Knope was *never* right.

@avclub-de9878e9d33c60263a094abc94fab3f0:disqus  - Yeah, that's the standard defensive reaction from people being called out on hating Lily, or Pam from The Office, or Penny from Big Bang Theory, or any number of other invariably female characters.
