In an odd coincidence, the persoj who gave him a lift was the boy from the Arab Strap.

You were sitting in a Walmart parking lot.
You said it was a living hell.
You said you were in hell.

*sigh* You could have made that clearer.

I'm glad someone invented a term for all the people having sex in outhouses.

Clearly, their database needs to be imbiggened.

I'm 1983, which introduces my favourite stupid word for the internet: information superhighway. I'm quite chuffed by that.

Now all of those words have been replaced by "Scaramucci".

"I think today was the day Donald Trump became truly schmesidential."

I'm no da Vinci expert, but I thought I'd heard that he was bisexual rather than gay. It's possible "gay" is just being used here to mean "sexually attracted to men", though I certainly know some bi people who dislike being labelled "gay".

And Woody Harrelson as Splinter.

Really, the only downside is all the FAKE OBITUARIES the lamestream media will print about us. Sad!

Was this covered by Channel 6 News? They'll finger anything with a pulse.

And then the murders began.

So, on this article about a classic Simpsons episode all about corporate mandated changes of limited value, in a comments section packed with tangents and nested threads, as every one rushes to use their favourite quotes because we know that we're part of a community that loves 'em, I'll take the opportunity to say

"You commenters don't know what you want. That's why you're still commenters, because you're stupid!" - Kinja tech support.

Sean addresses it in the article (and his original alt.tv.simpsons commentary), but I think part of what makes this episode great, and different from later, crappier episodes, is the sense of inclusiveness. They make fun of the fans, but they make fun of themselves and the suits and cartoon entertainment in general.

I'd have been about thirteen when this episode came out, and just starting to figure out how to critically analyse the way media got produced, so "The Itchie and Scratchy and Poochie Show" was mind-blowing. Suddenly I started thinking about the whole entertainment ecosystem and all the different players in it:

Sean O'Neal needs to be louder and angrier.

In Japan they call Sean O'Neal Annual Gift Man and he lives on the moon.

Very few AV Club jokes are original. It's a terrible strain on the commenters' brains.
