It was probably Michael Brown for me, which seems pretty bad, though I live in Australia so a lot of this stuff didn't get reported here until recently. I was a kid when Rodney King was attacked, but I have vague memories of it being something people were talking about.

Firstly, while I obviously can't speak for all people with depression, as someone who suffers from it myself I find 'Bojack Horseman' incredibly affecting and relatable in its depiction of the condition. Bojack describes it in one episode in almost exactly the same way I've described my depression.
