Oops. This has been fixed now. Thanks for heads up.

Agreed.

You're making a lot of good points, Quiet Wyatt. Especially #3: Tricky is definitely in love with his "cousin," not that landlady character.

Right? He's shot from so far away while wearing layers of white silk, yet THERE IS NO BLOOD at all. Then Tricky starts screaming. It's just all… too much.

"Extremely enjoyable" may be a stretch. Perhaps "morbidly fascinating" works better. So many things went horribly wrong.

Well, that dark time in your life is over because I'm in Chicago and hey, I LOVE that song.

Okay, fine. That made me laugh.

I don't think it necessarily portrays Q-Tip in an unflattering light, but it was a little hard to watch. It's a bit like asking a couple why they got divorced and then just letting the two of them talk. Clearly a lot of resentments built up over the years and a lot of experience knowing exactly which words will to get

I'm so tempted to label "The World Is Yours" as my favorite, but the "Human Nature" sample on "It Ain't Hard To Tell" is just next-level brilliant.

Indeed.

Done. Hope it is useful.

This has been edited to include the accurate release date. Thanks for the heads-up.

This error has been corrected. Thanks for the heads up.

You're correct. This is what comes of typing too fast. It's been corrected. Thanks!

In the editing phase, a lot of the individual collaborations with other artists were cut. I did, however, include two links that feature Big Boi and Janelle Monáe working together.

If it's any consolation, I had albums 1-4 under 101 at first, and had to go back for a re-write since that section was more than 5,000 words. Aquemini is and has always been my personal favorite. I don't necessarily agree it's the best entry point for a neophyte, though.

Fair point.

I think we're on the same page, then. Sbxxx/TLB is the most celebrated. Aquemini is THE ONE for most devotees, me included. But in an examination of the trajectory of their career, Stankonia and the double album were a big deal. OutKast seemed to be everywhere the winter of 2004. They became pop, which was huge. So,

Another track that was cut in the editing process. But, yes, it's fantastic.

This is a really great read. Thanks for posting it.
