I'd wager there's some pseudo-random nonsense that makes certain number/month combos pop up more than others. Plus, who is going to have the cojones to make their fake holiday be on the same day as a popular real one? Even Festivus is December 23rd.

I keep getting Secret Service investigations mixed up with coked-up toga parties. Although, to be fair, so does the Secret Service.

True, but I think it's also in the films that are ruined through constant overquoting by insecure freshmen.

It should just be shows for children, like Dani's Castle, Horrible Histories or a third show that is ostensibly for adults but adding it here to the end of this list of three would insinuate that it's actually quite childish and thus would be an amusing slight against the show in question.
