I don't think a list of the most poorly made movies of the year would be especially interesting, or even fair. (Hey, you know that shit movie some idiot made on credit cards you've never heard of? Don't see it!) These are movies that deserved to be called out for their terribleness, and not just ignored.

Maybe not the best example, but there's a boy in my daughter's preschool class whose mother lives on the same block as the child's father, even thought they're not together anymore. (I don't think they were ever married.) I see a lot of my friends and peers ripping up the rulebook and doing whatever works for them.
