The worst offender is MILK, which hints (not too subtly) that Dan White, who was a real guy who really killed Harvey Milk, was a closet case, when there's no evidence of that. Actually, the film makes him a pretty big homophobe, which wasn't really the case in real life either.

Holy shit. I've never SL, so up until now I never realized that the last scene with Judge Hirsch in the Seinfeld episode he guests on, where he's saying how each thing he owns could have been used to buy Jerry's parents a plane ticket to France, is a riff on that.
