Much as I love A Simple Plan (and would in no way bemoan its inclusion), if were going with 90's crime films featuring Paxton and Thorton, I'd argue that One False Move is the superior effort. I'd actually probably put that in the top 25 of the nineties, me.

Interesting. I do love me some Deconstructing Harry. Partly it's that it's clearly a take on my favorite modern writer, Philip Roth (and the fact that he and Allen have so many crossover themes); partly it's that it's a take on Wild Strawberries. I think a case can be made that Manhunter is better. I wouldn't make it, but I don't think it's an inherently hipster-doofusy opinion. It's a fantastic film on its own, and in a lot of ways creepier than Silence.

To be fair, I think T2 has some really great scenes(including the one you mentioned) and a cool villain (and yes, groundbreaking effects), but it's still a bad script filled with really grating, 'cool' 90's dialog; and awful central performance by Furlong, and the stupid blockbuster mentality that makes it so that

I don't know if I would personally put it in the top 10 (which, if I were making this you can bet your ass LA Confidential gets a spot in the top 3), but I would in no way argue with its inclusion there. Definitely deserves some spot on this list. Galaxy Quest is a great film, top to bottom. Fun cast, well made,

Yeah, in my post at least I specified that T2 has some things going for it, foremost amongst them Patrick's awesome performance as the villain.

Which alone makes it the superior film!

Absolutely agree.

I'm calling Big Lebowski as the upset over Pulp Fiction for the number one spot.

It shouldn't even be on this list. Shitty bad movie.
