I don't even understand the original impulse to give Abrams the key to the other big space opera series in the first place. Why give him more series? He's not like Kubrick or someone

Sounds like Fifth Element. Hope it's as stylistic.
You need to see Claudio Sanchez in songs like this to appreciate the incongruity of his image and his full vocal range: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
I was gonna say that Across the Pacific, the first item on this list, is some Lone Gunmen shit. I'm surprised no internet conspiracy theorists haven't used that as an excuse to back the idea that FDR allowed Pearl Harbor to be bombed. Predictive Programming 1940s style: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…
Theory: Brian isn't pining for Pam, he's just going to be a completely annoying self-insert stand-in for the audience/"rational" people, who will White Knight her by confronting Jim for his abandonment. Kinda like Brian the dog from Family Guy.

"Junior Salesman" was a cartoon episode, but it's little touches like that which made it amusing and both episodes, as middling as they are, are underserved by all of this boring Brian talk.

Let this be the ignominious death of zombie movies. Fuck you, Brad Pitt, for squandering the World War Z license.
I totally thought that guy was mentally-handicapped, which explains the bizarre meeting with HR and him saying that he can't be fired. Unfortunate implications all around.

Just like Hugo Weaving as V, or Edward Norton as Baldwin IV.
- everybody, after hearing the Brokeback Mountain guy was gonna play Batman's archnemesis
Hollywood self-congradulates itself yet again.
As seen on Malcolm in the Middle.
James Earl Jones would've been preferable
Heh. Minimizing.
I really wish I had bought the entire set prior to this announcement.
The Stallone movie looks like they're going for a bit of the buddy cop angle, except because the other cop is played by an Asian American actor, he's almost totally marginalized in the previews and will probably have a minimal on-screen presence if at all.
