Shut your tart mouth!

Definitely not just you.

ON THE NEXT MAD MEN:

Haven't you heard? She's no one's wife but by God, she loves her life.

Yeah, I agree. That beat felt off. If Pete hadn't just called gay people degenerates, it might have made sense but that was just off.

Nonsense—Sometimes you just need your kitchen vandalized and your mother creepily fetishized.

There is such a wooden spoon coming her way, the poor girl.

*starts nodding and then stops*

I don't hate her with Don 2.0 but  I seriously just get off on Peggy earning men's respects and not banging them. That's honestly what my fanfiction would be.

As far as short, neurotic manchilds go, there's one you could actually see an appeal to.

There's pride in being the one to tame the most petulant kid in the classroom. Ask any teacher.

Eh. Let's not pretend that a fucked up perception of male-female relationships wasn't always Sally Draper's birthright.

PETE'S MOM
"You were a sour little boy. You are a sour little man." One is left to wonder if this insightful old bat is now going to gently cup Don's face and say "You're worthy of love, Dick Whitman" in the season finale.

It literally sickens me that that took 9 minutes. C'mon, internet!

I LOVED how realistically awkward that meltdown was. It wasn't a Grey's Anatomy/West Wing meltdown where people get verbose and eloquent and speechify for three minutes without losing their train of thought—she was basically a hot mess, rambling and on the verge of tears and/or a slap the whole time.

That's ridiculous; you can't morally compare a sitcom character to a drama character. That's like complaining that Barney Stinston is a sexist.

A man that beds Joan does not have to answer the question. He can just smile knowingly unaffected by these petty concerns.

- Don revealing that he's not a single bachelor rocking it in the city but that he was a suburban wife and leads a double life in the pilot.
- Dick Whitman. Make that triple life.
- Peggy giving unexpected birth and getting locked up.
- Joan getting raped by her Ken doll husband.
- Lane body dangling in his office.
-

He really might just be there to highlight how loathsome and selfish these people are at this point. He feels so unnatural there, this guy that's not  a sap and yet consistently helping others.
