I never get that comparison. Beyond the "Girls in New York City" I can't think of two shows attempting two more different sets of things.

The INSIDE THE EPISODE segment blurs the line between Marnie & Allison Williams so very much that I thought it was a bit.
"That's because your songs were all so, uh — sexual."
"Pardon?"
"Now if we'd had Colin Sweeney meeting the two moms, it would have been the greatest hour of television this week."
No one is debating anything, friend. What's with the outrage?
I speak as a fellow humanities major: everyone other department hates you. You make us sociology folks look like frat guys.
That was the perfect ending to a basically perfect episode. God, I love this show. (Man, Alicia basically broke Will in two, uh?) If the next episode isn't next Sunday so help me God, I will set this computer on fire and you will all burn inside of it.
…That's the only thing I could imagine. Yeah, that is in no way clever.
Thank you for the transitive compliment then.
Ok, I was born in 1990 and I just don't get it.
By the transitive property Naya Rivera is no longer out of my league since she clearly has a thing for schlubby guys.
"Why on earth would an 18-year-old boy want to sew a puppet?"
We've literally crossed the uncanny valley re: Kurt's pants. Have they ever been tighter?
Yeah, I'm out.
Hm. What would a male version of Alicia even look and sound like?
Never count Jackie out, I guess. I like this new wrinkle in her character. It really highlights her past hypocrisy re: Alicia.
They keep trying to give Kalinda a Guylinda which is endlessly annoying. Having her interact with Alicia and Cary now is what we want to see!
I think it's pretty clear he wants to join them in some capacity. The fire of youth and all that. Heck that's even underlined by Diane in another scene. There's something attractive to that fire.
That Irish bloke is giving me… Blake flashbacks. For all the really, really phenomenal guest stars TGW has (why hello, Mrs. Tascioni) let's not forget that they tend to screw it up when it comes to giving Kalinda a male equivalent*.
"That one, there's your fucking diva."
