That's what, like, 7 nerds? I think you're lowballing.

Okay, June, I get how Grease 2 might be more empowering to a little girl than the first. But as far as I can tell, neither of them are very good movies and the sequel is the lesser of the 2.
I've never been able to bring myself to watch Breakfast of Champions. It might be my favorite Vonnegut book, and — like most of them — I have no idea how it could be or was adapted for the screen. How do you handle the meta-textual, author-insert stuff which then has to be compared to the author stand-in Killgore…
‘Democrat [], Republican [] Pissed Off []’ and the Pissed Off box is checked, because who’s not?” Dawson said. The other most popular political shirt is one that says “When Did For The People By The People Become Screw The People?”
Maybe this is a city vs suburb thing. I grew up eating at restaurants several times a week and it was certainly faster to walk the 3 blocks to a spot than the meal prep would have been.
I'll never get into these true crime stories. They all feel far to voyeuristic to me. Like we're supposed to be making fun out of the real troubles that real people went through.
I imagine that greatly depends on whose definition of "fixing" you're using. I'm sure the developer who bought the dilapidated pre-school across the street from me thought he was fixing things when he tore it down and to turn it into condos.
I think we often lose sight of what's important in these discussions. But let me be perfectly clear:
Sending trash to the Sun is energetically prohibitive, you need a tremendous amount of fuel to get into a low solar-orbit.
Drop it into a volcano, it's far more efficient. It was good enough for the Old Gods, and it's…
Christ, how am I just now realizing that the TARDIS was Anne Oldman?
Gross! Why, I'll have you know it is a classic delicacy!
Fat, sugar, chocolate, and bubbles. What's not to like?
This may put my firmly in "Old Man Yells at Cloud" territory, but I'm with FartSandwich on this one.
They'd have no problem rolling them into the MCU if they end a '60s set movie by flinging them into another dimension/space/time portal. Then just bring them back in another MCU film.
Well that's a little disappointing. If for no other reason, it'll be pretty much impossible for me to rewatch it all before then.
There wasn't any announcement. But a while back they switched from 5 articles a week to 5 a month. When I asked about the slow-down the only response I got was basically "What slow-down?" Then it just stopped all together.
After years of campaigning, someone finally read my AV Club wish list!*
I've heard enough good things about it, that I'm sure I'll like it once I dig in.
I need to give it another shot. I only got halfway through the first episode.
The biggest problem with all call-in shows is still that the set of people who will call in is completely distinct from the set of people whose opinions I'm interested in hearing (even if I agree with them).
That's a lot of love for the ladies of SNL. I like them all, but I find it hard to think that there are 3 performers from one sketch comedy show that outshine every other supporting woman in a comedy.
Every week I try to watch at least one movie I should have already seen. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that I saw Fritz Lang's M for the first time and it blew me away. It felt far more modern than I was expecting, I was engaged the whole way through, and a most surprised by how funny it was.
