Princess Diaries 2 totally wrote out the love interest from movie one, even though he's the brother of her BFF.  Probably because he was a terrible actor.

From the snippet here it looks like Parker Lewis was the (much) better show. I still prefer the horribly misconceived Big Fat Greek Wedding series.

Calculated, pretentious theatrics can do a lot to distract from great pop songs.  Bizarre is only fun when it's done in earnest - this was weird formulated for the sake of being weird. 

Of Montreal may be the only band that I liked *less* after watching them live. 

Had exactly the same experience.  Even the attractive lesbian couple sitting next to me couldn't keep me in my seats for Of Montreal past the second or third song.

"In God's Hands" is a terrible movie with a couple of amazing scenes, but his finest work is surely "Satanic Verses".

Soft-spot for female-fronted melodrama and yet we pass on the new Nightwish release?   Delicious, over-the-top freight train of an album plus a full-length film.  Out-awesomes Lacuna Coil 2:1.

Best cop show ever.  Jack Webb was punching hippies before it was cool.  Would have loved to see his ripped-from-the-headlines take on the occupy movement.

I think you're right, but the Mexican taquerias here in Oregon count on you not knowing that.

Sangria Senorial and Cola Champagne are the perfect foil to authentic Mexican.  But I wouldn't expect this bunch to ever be in "that" part of town.

I think the (season 8) finale is one of the best series finales I've ever seen.  Should have quit while they were ahead.
