Picked up AKMB (All Known Metal Bands) at a DC bookstore a few years back - just a list of tens of thousands of metal band names. They're not all winners (a dozen bands named Cthulu, etc.) but enough awesome to tide one over between the annual "year in Band Names" features.

Still get a lot of play out of SSX3 on my Gamecube. The franchise has been a little uneven but if they match the mechanics of SSX3 this will be worth the sixty bucks.

Went to see Janelle Monae as the opening act for Of Montreal. JM was amazing as expected but OM was unbearable. The whole novelty thing was way too calculated - left after three songs.

Saw the Portland, OR stop of this tour last night and completey agree. An absolutely mindblowing half-set from Janelle Monae followed by way-too-precious music peppered with simulated sex acts with the cast of Spirited Away. Of Montreal - never again.
