YUP. And in the earlier seasons, his impulses about new characters were usually right. He's gotten a bit dumber as seasons went on, but I prefer him getting shit done to Stefan preaching about how bad it is to get shit done.

This is obviously never going to happen due to recent events, but I thought for a moment that it would be kind of fun if Artifacts Nerd Alaric met up with Artifacts Hoarder Cami. Or at least it would have been fun if either of them were capable of being fun at this point.

I've wanted Bonnie to be the big bad since at least Season 4. I would absolutely love it if she were the villain and Damon had to kill her to bring Elena back for the finale or something.

I just remembered over the weekend that Alaric killed Caroline's father. I am trying to figure out of this little piece of character history is more or less awkward than the fact that Damon banged Elena's mother/Alaric's wife.

Clearance Lollipops?

What if she bites all sexy-sexy, though?

I helped Jean-Luc Lemur, who is genuinely good looking, pick a better selfie for his profiles and from what I understand, he is now dead from drowning in ladybits. There is no one so hideous that they can't benefit from a good selfie lesson. Relaxed smile, lit from above, dynamic pose, and so forth. Use a filter if

The relationships used to be so organic! Being pushed together because supernatural circumstances is just not sexy at ALL.

Yeah, it was weird that she said he didn't say goodbye this episode. He totally did.

UGH. And once he could talk, he was played by a white guy and promptly murdered. Just awful.

I agree completely. The best villains are the ones you can identify with, and the best way to make viewers identify with a character is to give them a sense of common cause. Previous villains had a clear motivation. But as the seasons drag on, the villains become less and less sympathetic.

The A. V. Club:

"More like Enz-NO!"

Right? I used to feel positively MOVED by episodes. It's what kept me going. Honestly, Elena approving of Jeremy and Bonnie dating was more exciting to me than anything that's happened this season.

I could ponder this for an eternity without approaching an answer.

Man, she's going to be so confused when she *69s that call.

I could not stop laughing. This song makes Levine look like a serial killer, but the article fixates on "animals-mals." There is something so unequivocally beautiful about that.

Yeah, she was just sad/confused.

I thought they jumped into random bodies, but apparently they were actually jumping into random DEAD bodies. So maybe a few of them are stuck in caskets or morgues or something?
