No, he banged Lexi and Bree and maybe Sage as well. And, let's be honest— probably Enzo. He wasn't celibate.

Ehhhhhh. I think Elena fucked up their relationship with Bex by stabbing her in the back. But Klaus DID kill Aunt Jenna and wanted to kill Elena, Caroline, and Tyler. Also made Stefan into his Rippah slave. I think The Brothers Salvatore handled many situations poorly, but they certainly had reason to antagonize Klaus.

I am very down with the idea of of them solving climate change the way they solve everything else: A Witch Fixes Things In The Penultimate Episode.

YUP. Picking them off covertly would be the way to go here. But they can't, because PLOT.

She painted them as being self-sacrificing— allowing her to have all the blood to overcome her Ripper urges while they dessicated— so I was really disappointed to see them as Mean Girls and Boring Dudes. I don't understand the nature of their loyalty at all.

Everything about the bomb idea was DUMB.

Ha! Good one!

Yup! My only concern is that these shows tend not to do group dynamics all that well— threats always feel more like a battle of mob vs. mob, and I rarely care which mob "wins."

That would be one of the "not really identical circumstances" I was referring to.

I thought TO was pretty on point tonight. I don't know about the Joker smiley thing and I have no idea what the deal was with that last scene at the end, but it looks like it will be an interesting season all the same. I like that someone FINALLY pointed out that 2 whole lines of vampires died, and that people noticed.

It reminded me a bit of the last season of Breaking Bad. Damon (Walt) dessicates (lives in New Hampshire) for a few years (months) and returns to find his town (house) has been irrevocably changed. The Heretics (neo-Nazis), once thought to be allies, have taken over and put everyone in danger.

1. I'm convinced Damon's soap dish is like 79% magical stones at this point. I would guess this one will turn Jo into a zombie or something.
2. The Heretics are probably the least likable, least sympathetic bad guys the show has ever introduced. The show can't try to pass off catty girls and silent guys as viable

Are you calling natives uncultured? RACIST.

OW MY BALLS!

Yeah, or maybe something a little more warm and fuzzy, like Happiness or Antichrist.

I think if anything, she should support showing animal slaughter, because anyone who is truly revolted by it might stop to consider what the animal goes through to become that cellophane-wrapped packet of pork chops.

Imagine having that be the first film you ever see. Not Inside Out. Not Citizen Kane. Oh no. Cannibal Holocaust.

It's a remake of the Rainforest episode of South Park.

I completely forgot about that!

Birdie, start fresh. Just forget all about us. Moving on is the best thing you can do for yourself. Good luck.
