Yeah, it's definitely a Klaus move. It made me think of the time he killed Tyler to force Bonnie into figuring out how to make hybrids.

I loved Alaric's second death, primarily because of the impact it had on Damon, who realized that he'd just lost Elena AND Alaric. S3 finale is one of the best episodes they've ever done.

That scene was the worst. Every time I see Damon and Elena together, I long for the days when watching them fight outside a tomb was the hottest thing ever.

I love how none of us are even considering the possibility that his death is permanent.

I'll admit that I skipped several episodes this season, but I think they did a great job wrapping it, considering how much of a trainwreck this season was. I think Rowan's reviews were my favorite part of the watching experience, though. It really didn't live up to its potential.

The way the integrated the exposition into the theme park stuff is great. The dumb little cartoon is a perfectly cromulent contrast to watching the severed limb of a goat slam into a Range Rover.
