I like it, its different from other trailers and it piques my interest. Its a teaser, that's all it has to do.

Yeah, TDKR had many faults but that scene was definitely not one of them. It was one of the best in the film.

It will be interesting to see what this movie is like. Just from the plot details it doesn't sound like its a big action movie, so this may be very similar to those (fantastic) low budget Nolan films but with a bigger budget.

I also fully expect that Rex Reed will not see this movie regardless of whether he likes or hates it

She went beyond hate watch for me.

A very generous C+

I would definitely put this and "The Way We Weren't" in the same "this is really shocking, but other shows could do it" category. Its also similar in the fact that it is excellent. The way the characters who've known each other for years turn on Aeryn it something that doesn't happen in a lot of shows. Also making

That might be number 1 for me possibly tied with "We'll have Pizza and Margarita shooters!"

Definitely post about Farscape here when you get around to it! I'm not entirely sure but Douay and I may spontaneously combust if we don't talk about Farscape enough.

I like to forget most things about STID.

Speaking of …Different Destionations
Frelling spoilers for frelling Farscape 3x05

I prefer 10 but both Eccleston and Smith's era was more consistent overall.

Really, because to me it was almost as if he said he was a B1G football fan or something, and this review was attacking the NCAA for being the awful institution it is. It's fine to be a football fan, I am myself, but if you don't think there is something wrong with the NCAA and college sports in general you're lying

One of my favorite things about the LOTR movies was how little they held the audiences hand when it came to names and background lore. Like how Elrond refers to "the blood of Numenor is all but spent" or, as you said, the use of Gandalf's many names with no explanation

Yeah I forgot about Radagast. I watched the first movie last night and remembered how much I despised their characterization of Radagast as well as his pod chasing scene.

To say it is bloated is fair but to say that it only exists because of Jackson's greed is a bit much. Jackson just doesn't know how to trim excess.. In a sense he's still stuck making his splatter movies and is under the impression that excess is always the way to go. Just look at King Kong. He can't just have Kong

I just don't need any more of that love triangle crap. Why does every movie now have to have an 80s sitcom style love triangle?! When did that become a thing. *shakes fist* Twiiiliiiiiiiiiiiiight!

I liked the Frodo cameo even though it was obvious fan service. Let us remember that I was a boy of 10 when Fellowship came out, and the LOTR movies are firmly in my nostalgic blind spot. It's possibly the only franchise where fan service doesn't bother me.

Tolkien wanted to publish it as one book. That is how it is often published now. Technically it is 6 books yes but they comprise one novel. Fun fact, he also really wanted the third part to be titled "The War of the Ring" instead of ROTK because he felt he spoiled the book.

Nah, that Greyhame guy.
