I can speak for all book readers in saying that this will be a very uneventful season. Nothing of note really happens. It totally won't consist of at least 6 seperate WTF moments over the last third. Such a boring season.

What?
"Call me Laurence Fishburne one more time motherfucker. Call me Laurence Fishburne one more time"
It's the equivalent of bring two hot girls with you to the club.
ARE YOU BELITTLING DAWSON'S PROBLEMS
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The scene where they transport over to the ship and the Borg just ignore them is fantastic. The humans were so weak comparatively that they didn't even register as a threat. Even when they begin fighting it comes off as if the Enterprise is just a minor nuisance, not a viable opponent.
Like a lot of Season 7 Nightmare in Silver is worth it because of Smith's performance alone, but unlike a lot of that season its actually a decent episode. I love the idea of the Doctor playing chess to save the day (one of the reasons Curse of Fenric is my favorite Classic serial) and I love how it treats the…
It was enjoyable episode right up to the Cybermen being foiled by love. It felt like the worst version of an RTD ending, and it wasn't even in his era of the show.
"Q Who" is fantastic at setting up just how terrifying the Borg are. Never before have we seen Picard so defeated and so frightened. It sets itself up like just another Q episode where humanity will prove him wrong and show him how strong they are….until we're shown just how weak we actually are. One of my favorite…
I had never really looked at the Borg that way (not them being Communists, I got that, but them being dark mirror images of the federation) its a fascinating take. Basically the Federation is a communist utopia and the Borg a communist dystopia.
Everytime something new comes out about this story I feel the strong urge to take a long shower and have a good cry…fuck this shit is horrible.
I wasn't trying to say that you did imply that. I was more as using your comment as a jumping off point to say what was on my mind. Sorry if it came off that way!
I lean the same way for the same reasons. I would rather side with the victim and be wrong, than side with a alleged child rapist and be wrong. I don't begrudge people who disagree with me though, this is obviously a cloudy and horrible situation. If only there was a clear cut explanation like the Polanski case, then…
His ability to write was assuredly, never in doubt, and it honestly doesn't help him in this case. I just naturally read this with a more critical eye because I know the man can write, and I know he knows exactly what to say.
Alcopheliac is the physical embodiment of all drinkers throughout history. He remembers everything (though all memories are slightly fuzzy, for obvious reasons)
He among you without sin may cast the first stone….
Could they do yogalaties?
Yeah, it definitely seemed as if everyone in the cast was best friends except Adam. Unfotunately, he's been unable to escape his typecasting and will generally play variations of Seth Cohen forever.
I was in love with both of them (and Seth) so I didn't have a cat in the fight. I mean, Anna was hot and great and all buuuuut…Rachel Bilson in that Wonder Woman costume. A+
