Mmm, I had an extended break over the summer and decided to just power through the series again. The vitriol had made me forget how much I generally loved all of those games. ME2 may be my favorite game of all time when I really think about it. Its amazing how much fan overreaction can cloud your memories of

I'd say that Rubicon is the show you're talking about. Homeland has always come off with an American slant.

See that is the exact reason why I prefered the American version. The cultural and social divide between the US and Mexico is just much more interesting. It allowed the show to be its own creation, and not just a shot for shot version of the original show with people speaking English instead. The show was at its best

The ending never soured me on that game (I wasn't happy with it but it was satisfying enough) but a lot of the fan reaction to that ending did. Though as that vitriol has died down I have found myself enjoying the game again.

Of course, they probably have other names that I don't remember given by the dwarves, men, and possibly other Elven languages.

I am ridiculously excited for this movie. I can't remember a Russell movie that I didn't enjoy immensely and it doesn't sounds like this will be the one that changes that. I mean its one of my favorite directors making a movie that stars essentially all of my favorite actors, I can't wait.

The only part of An Unexpected Journey I actually found bloated was that extended chase scene through the caverns. I generally liked the rest of the stuff people complained about. I enjoyed the extended party scene at the beginning immensely.

Children of Hurin was surprisingly excellent. I totally wouldn't mind a series about that family. And this time its surprise incest!

< nerd > Alatar and Pallando (called Morinehtar and Romenstamo by the elves), < / nerd >

For me its just fun enough to hang out in Peter Jackson's Middle Earth again. He perfectly captured the world in my opinion, and it's hard not to geek out about, even if the movie set in that world may not be great.

Well technically, LOTR is one extremely long book that is generally published in three relatively short parts that was then adapted into three long movies.

Of course it is with that attitude! You just need to be positive! And to buy a lot of lube!

Yeah, that definitely influences my excitement for this.

That fucking Skyscraper scene is still one of my all time favorite action set pieces.

P.S. I kill you, yo-ooo-o-o-ouu

Kill, kill me do
You know I'll kill you
I'll always aim true
So please, kill me do

If netflix brought back firefly I'd be in my bunk for a good 7 days.

Stay out of my pasture.

That episode has become a holiday tradition for me. It's one of the most legitimately moving half hours of tv I've ever seen.

"Yo bitch this is my partner Mr. White"
