Also he has to say "bub" all the time, and no one wants to say "bub". Ain't that right, bub?

I'm sympathetic to that desire, I mean..look at them. But still, shipping their characters after what Hannibal did to Will (ignoring the whole "he's a cannibal" thing) in the last third of the season…that's just disgusting.

One of my favorite parts of the show is that they aren't trying to play a will they won't they. Alana acknowledges that she shares the feelings, but also doesn't want a relationship because she realizes it wouldn't be healthy for her. I loved that.

And there promotions only succeeded in convincing me not to watch it for the longest time. I owe TVDW a deep debt of gratitude for informing me that it was good.

On the contrary, most television shows could be greatly improved by an addition of both Jessica Lange saying words and some good old fashioned man ass.

Don't go on tumblr then. A vast majority of that sect of the fandom ships Hannibal with Will…..and I want to strangle them.

American Horror Story has…writers? I thought they just put Jessica Lange in a room with some cameras and started filming. Pausing only to introduce man-ass.

I feel like you guys missed a golden opportunity to say "This is my design" after every point you made.

Room 237 is a documentary about how Kubrick's movies don't inspire compulsive re-watches and in depth study, right?

Eddie Izzard's performance on Hannibal was ridiculously terrifying. Maybe it's just because I'm so used to his stand up persona that seeing him play evil was just a shock to the system but…damn if he didn't rival Hannibal in the "scaring the shit out of me" department.

My favorite sequence with them to watch is the placement of Will in Hannibal's office. When they first meet, Will keeps his distance, he is on equal footing with Hannibal. Every subsequent meeting they move closer, and Will is portrayed as more and more submissive, until that final shot there where Hannibal is in

One of the things I loved the most about the last third or so of the season was how helpless it made me feel. We know that Hannibal is lying to Will. We know whats happening and we can yell at the characters until our throat is sore but it won't help. In the end we're just as helpless as Will graham, and that is

Which is strange considering her policy towards the Ireland leaned towards the "Are the Irish really people?" side of issue.

I'm sorry if you read this and just saw insincere snark I think you need to re-read it. There is snark yes, but directed at Finke. The majority of the article is a sincere obit, with obvious reverence towards Madiba. If you want a long devotion to the man's deeds, read the Times' obit (honestly read it, its

Apparently you have yet to experience the perfect storm of self hate that is "procrasturbation"

I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it if the show didn't seem to hold my generation in the same contempt that people like Will McCavoy probably would.

Also the complete lack of understand of how American elections work.

As any good person of Irish descent I will be right behind you in that endeavor, my friend

I guess my kids are going to have the same questions for me when they start hearing about Wubya.

As someone who wasn't born until after the Reagan/Thatcher era I am continually amazed that either of these people were ever elected as two of the most important leaders of the democratic world.
