I enjoy that you can also lighten up the melding together of bulk (wtf, "bulk"?) sausage, butter, ground beef, and ground chuck by substituting healthy canola oil for the bacon drippins.  Because that was the part that was going to get you, even after pouring over double-fried fries and garnishing with saltines.

He also made the acting "choice" for being menacing by talking in stilted, halted sentences in a Shatner-esque fashion and giving a constant deadpan stare in his scenes.  It's like he did that to keep himself from cracking up.
