This is outstanding! I like this so much that I may very well be upset if the actual writers DON'T use the 500 Miles song in the finale. I never considered the possibility that they'll pull a Sopranos ending and never show us the mother's face. So are you a busboy/screenwriter in real life?

Last night's episode was the final chapter (or "play"?) on the book when Victoria way back at the beginning of this season said that Ted can never find the Future Mrs. Ted Mosby until Robin was out of his life. And now she will be, even if they still hang out.

If there's one thing this show is a master at, it's quick histories. I agree that they're going to address the "Why do they work now/Why were they always going to work" question.

After wondering about who the mother will ultimately be, a close second has always been how long the writers are going to portray her. Just the final scene? Throughout the final episode? The final 3-4 episodes? Because if this season is going to be the last one, they must have decided this by now, no? I can't be alone

What was the one with horses (horseman?) at the beginning of the show? Bob's head cut it out when I looked for it.

Because at least in the suburbs and more rural areas, it's generally the same person who's served you all year long. My parents know ours by his first name, so it's just a nice thanks after 365 days of service (and around Christmas, it's also for delivering presents)

I guess ultimately Mindy & Co aren't aiming to make this into Scrubs. They're already located an midtown office clinic and not inside a hospital like Scrubs, where the characters were literally around the corner from diseases at all times, and this the quick medical lingo flowed out naturally. I agree with you about

Haven't they already done a lot of that so far? There was the pilot at the end when she delivered a baby, then when she challenged Danny to give her a full checkup and he chickened out, then when she tried to persuade that teen neighbor not to have sex, and the finally all of the plotlines that have revolved around
