I like that description. It's fair. I love Community plenty, but jeez…it's a show, not Gospel.

How will I watch it from Canada? What do I do…
Saddest thing of my week. I actually saw in on Kevin Biegel's twitter account. Maybe Cougar Town and Community will survive…
It's just shallow to look at them, write that they're ugly, and then criticize the casting choice for their physical attributes. I'm not attracted to them, and I don't see it as important to the appeal of the show or the characters. Who cares what they look like? I don't watch these shows for the sexual frisson it…
Explain the appeal? The quick joke writing. Not physical. It's a big pet peeve of mine that Alison Brie or Busy Philips are looked at and not appreciated beyond their physical appearance.
I don't assume that we can pinpoint the specific writers, because it seems very in character for Jules to want to deny Travis or for Grayson to want to stay neutral. It was just a good way for the audience to see the discord with regards to that pairing. It's a subtle bit of metafiction that doesn't forget the…
The argument between each of the characters might reflect, not necessarily word per word, the writer's room arguments.
Please keep it up! I enjoy the write-ups, regardless of readership. I think that the site needs to continue pursuing Scrubs.
I'm starting to think you follow me everywhere. It seems like you read all the reviews I'm at…damnit…
Titus Andronicus works for me. But, strangely, if I want something for perspective, I just listen to Bowie's Heroes. Titus makes me angrier, Heroes makes me feel better.
That StarBurns music video thing reminded me so much of Barney's job interview. I can't decide which is more awesome.
Marge: "When did we become the bottom rung of society?"
Homer: "I think it's when that cold snap killed off all those hobos…"
Love Troy's reaction. I look forward to the episode.
I just watched the first four episodes. And will continue…seems as though I'm a little out of the loop.
What he's saying is that Fringe is a serialized drama, and hence has a series-long arc that would be irksome should it be cancelled because it is well-loved. Cougar Town, which has an arc because of the wedding, is less bound to a propulsive narrative with an endgame, but rather has stories and characters and growth.…
It's given to the loser.
Making out with Holly is like making out with a dumber Laurie. So no worries, I'm sure their relationship (platonic or no) will be reinforced.
I love that Roger said his own name to speak to Jules. Just one word says all it can about the character.
I don't know about you, but as a French Canadian, I DESERVE more respect.
I was going to pick a fight, but not about the Canadian thing. Just because this guy clearly hasn't been to Montreal and tasted the smoke meat sandwiches or seafood.
We're a lovely, weird little people, the Quebecois are.
