Hey, there's no proof that Ugolino ate his children, just sneering Italian innuendo.

Whoa, hipster cred revoked! Dylan's Sara is off Desire, not Blood on the Tracks, goddammit.

I'm sorry, but everyone should have stopped after littlealex's entry, and turned off the internet, and spent some time with their family, pets, or mildly depressed co-workers. That was fucking perfect.

Wait, I thought the word was "Chinamen."

I noticed a typo in your post, you accidentally said that Boy Scoutz in the Hood is "also just eh" when you clearly meant to type that it is "just awesome, eh".

There's always a reason to preserve awesome quirks and oddities of the language: because they're awesome and odd.

Yeah, Mr Singer needs to consult his Big Book of Collective Nouns. Gaggle of geese, murder of crows, gang of grannies….

HOLY FUCKING SHIT THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR IS NOWHERE NEAR SHAKESPEARE'S WORST PLAY, KING JOHN, TWO GENTLEMEN FROM VERONA AND HENRY VI PARTS 1 AND 3 ARE ALL WAY WAY FUCKING WORSE. MERRY WIVES HAS GODDAMN MASTER SLENDER AND FALSTAFF IN A MOTHERFUCKING LAUNDRY BASKET THAT SHIT OWNS.

Oh, Jorge, that's sweet. But come to Winnipeg, and I'll show you plenty of un-stamped-out racial basis, of the "worthless drunk Indians" variety.

Something Wicked This Uwe Comes

Loudon and Martha did a couple killer duets together, Father/Daughter Dialogue and You Never Call, You Never Write; then there's two that Loudon wrote for her when she was a kid, Five Years Old and that one about getting divorced, Your Mother & I, that always makes me tear up because it's stupid and I hate it and I'm

Just to be clear, I fully endorse a disrespectful attitude toward the military, and then some. I just can't think of any military-centric Simpsons episodes that aren't moderately to completely lame. Oh, except that season 1 ep where they water-bomb Nelson, that was a good 'un.

This way too late, but guys — Mosquito Coast. My Own Private Idaho. Running on Empty. With minor credits for I Love You to Death and Jimmy Reardon. River Phoenix was precisely as great as people remember him to be.

Stark Raving Dad and Whacking Day aren't great episodes, but they have some all-time great gags: Patsy Cline singing "Crazy" when Marge is put on hold; Homer trying to wash the "Insane" stamp off; and in Whacking Day, Homer's advice to Lisa to pent up her rage until it explodes, like the time Daddy hit that referee

What can I say? Something about it grates on me, and nothing about it makes me laugh out loud. I also dislike the one where Bart and Lisa go to military school (don't know what season that is off the top of my head), maybe it's just something about the way the Simpsons does military.

I`ve always actively disliked "Sideshow Bob's Last Gleaming". I'm not a big fan of "the Way We Was" or any of the other family-flashback shows (though there's great individual gags in some of them).

Smell you later, Bart. Smell you later forever!

C'mon, people
Best Little Whorehouse in Texas!!!

Two "on the whole"s in one short post? That's it, I need more coffee.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, settle down, tezro. Not better than Rumour and Sigh. Definitely better than You? Me? Us?
