You're a liar. Stop lying, liar!
I'm in Canada, and the redesign is a pile of dogshit up here too.
I don't just intensely dislike this new design, I kind of feel insulted by it. It isn't just ugly and disorganized, it's actively condescending.
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.
He did acquiescence, but it was in one of his drunken stupors.
"We aren't racist, but we make racists laugh!"
I'm with you. I've never seen GoT and I loved the shit out of this episode. If the follow-up episode is as good, this one's going in the pantheon.
We all knew Lucy would pull that football away one too many times, right?
It's been almost twenty years since I read it, so I wouldn't be surprised.
Ugh, that book. The scene where Sue jumps out of a window rather than have sex with Jude… I almost couldn't finish the book after that. The cringe factor was too high.
Well, they still play the holiday specials on network TV every year. Kids know the damn Peanuts — not the strips, maybe, but the classic cartoons at least.
Is it as good as "Chunnel"?
o/t, but your icon change makes me very sad.
Oh, I'm not kidding: http://www.slate.com/articl…
Could she be so clueless? I'd be willing to bet the answer is "yes". That capper is almost (almost!) egomaniacal enough to tip over into charming, if the piece as a whole wasn't a) half-baked, pretentious and pseudo-profound, and b) so obviously constructed solely for…
> an egotist with a hilariously inflated view of her own importance.
This is a terrible idea. And I say that as both a Raymond Chandler enthusiast and as a reluctant, half-abashed Castle fan.
I'm thinking "available" was a poor choice of words. As opposed to "Mr. Senstive McJumpdownthroat", which is an awesome choice of words.
Bonus points to nuDisqus: getting to watch this clusterfuck argument unfold in real time.
The Fu Manchu books are seriously entertaining. (And a lot of Sax Rohmer's other books too.) I can't fault anyone for not being able to get past the Yellow Peril racism, but to me, it's so ludicrously over the top it's like Pedro Camacho hating the Argentines.
"It's not 'Top of the Muffin TO YOU!'"
"Yes, yes it is!"
Maybe the apostrophe bugged you.
